 WHAT ORAMORPH ORAL SOLUTION IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

BEFORE YOU TAKE ORAMORPH ORAL SOLUTION

Do not take ORAMORPH if:

• you are allergic (hypersensitive) to morphine sulfate or any of the ingredients of ORAMORPH (listed below in section 6)

• you have lung or breathing problems oramorph side effects such as hypoventilation or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Disease’ (COPD)

• You have an asthma attack

• You have sudden or recent liver disease oramorph tablets

• You have had a recent head injury oramorph prescription

• You have something called a ‘chromocytoma’. This is a rare tumor that is not malignant

• You have seizures (convulsions) or increased intracranial pressure

• The person using oramorph tablets  the medicine is in a deep and prolonged unconsciousness (coma)

• You are addicted to alcohol. or have recently consumed large amounts of alcohol

• you are taking or have taken in the last two weeks medicines for depression such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)

• you have paralytic ileus (loss of bowel)Do not take this medicine if any of the above apply to you
